Sometimes the road we journey down can seem so long.
Sometimes the questions we cannot answer the “why” hang in the air like a stench, never to be known while we are here, looming around us like the darkness that hides the day.
Walking by faith in the face of tragedy is almost more than we can bear sometimes, as “why” still lingers.
The answer will be known someday as we are now known, but the waiting can be unbearable sometimes.
Our Heavenly Father, the One who knit us from the womb, is still in control but sometimes we still wonder why bad things happen…He only knows the answer.
Does it make it any easier? No.
The sadness of losing a loved one without saying, “I love you” one more time can be too much to bear, but we somehow make it through.
Is there any comfort of knowing they are with Jesus? Yes.
The loss is still too much to bear sometimes.
Go on we must, until we see our loved ones again in Heaven.
Trusting the Holy Spirit will comfort our heart when we think we cannot bear up under the grief anymore, we look ever upwards….sometimes still wondering “why.”
