Jesus Without the Junk became a 501© (3) tax exempt entity July 5, 2007. I have listed below an overview of what this ministry of five people, who began with nothing, has been able to accomplish so far for God's purposes. The figures reflect the time of July 5, 2007 through June 30, 2010:
· $8,196.08 was sown into several worldwide ministries
· $8,196.49 was sown locally into the lives of the needy at Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving. In addition, several hundred of these dollars were used to help underprivileged children purchase back to school supplies
· $1500.00 was used to fund Heart of Hope. Profits made from shirt sales were donated to the Domestic Violence Shelter.
· $3985.50 was used to produce the book The Stained Glass Window, which will be used as seed to reach the multitudes with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
The above figures do not include the money it takes to begin a ministry from the ground up….equipment, technical support, advertising, and each little thing that is necessary to get the Gospel to God’s children “one rung at a time.” Believe me when I tell you that every penny that has been sown into this ministry has been accounted for legally.
It is now the expressed will of the Father to pose this question to you and to the churches at large: If five everyday people can come together to accomplish so much for the kingdom, aside from our full-time lives and jobs, then why can't you?
